Minimum Wage Increases for 2021

The minimum wage is going up in 19+ different states effective January the 1st 2021 however the state of New York will be rolling out their new minimum wage effective December the 31st.

Out of the minimum wage and the 20 states that will be affected by this change we see changes going from 8 cents, up to a dollar fifty per hour in several different states. Some of the states who will be raising their rates by a dollar are Arkansas, California, Illinois, and New Jersey we see that there is a dollar fifty cent increase for New Mexico and we see that there are some that are raising their rates by 15 cents an hour that’s Alaska, Arizona, Maine and South Dakota and so forth so you have a general idea.

Florida has a progressive plan for their minimum wage beginning January the 1st. They will increase the minimum wage to $8.65 per hour and each year the amount is going to increase until the state minimum wage reaches $15 an hour.
